The Anchorage Curling Club is an all-volunteer organization. Therefore, the Board relies on our members to help make for a successful curling season. From new curlers to seasoned veterans, all members are encouraged to get involved. Whether volunteering a few minutes each week or several hours each month, your time and efforts will go a long way and be greatly appreciated. |Ice Crew||This committee manages all aspects of ice installation and maintenance to ensure safe and fun curling conditions.||Charles Taggart|
|Bonspiels||This committee does all the planning, coordination, and event management for the club’s bonspiel events each season.||Diego Donna|
|Long-Term Planning||Forming the vision for our curling future, this committee creates and updates our business plan while pursuing investment and grant opportunities that will lead to a new club facility and expansion.||TBD|
|Sponsorship & Marketing||This committee coordinates with local businesses and organizations for sponsorship, fundraising, and community outreach events to help promote the sport of curling.||Heather Alley|
|Membership & Communication||Keeping everyone in the know…this committee manages website updates, social media, communication with existing members, and strategies to grow/retain club membership.||ACC Board|
|Bar||Develops rules and procedures for bar management to include ordering, bartender training, licensing renewal, etc. so that our members can enjoy a cold beverage throughout the curling season.||
|Rentals||This committee schedules all member and non-member rentals while coordinating with other committees to ensure a successful event.||Bill Foster|
