Learn to Curl for Juniors - Oct 6 2024

Calling all high school and middle school curling enthusiasts!!

This Learn To Curl event is just for you! Come down with your friends (and parents) and learn how to curl with the best that Anchorage has to offer. Curling is so much fun and is a great avenue to pursue any Olympic dreams you may have. No matter what your goals are, curling is a great team activity and could be your opportunity to learn something new! :)

To reserve a spot for this Learn to Curl class, parents/guardians please complete the online registration here for your juniors. Parent/guardian must be present at the event for all juniors under 16. Walk-in participants are welcome but not guaranteed a spot.

Participants who are a part of group registration will need to have their parent/guardian sign a waiver when you arrive at the ACC.

Welcome to the Anchorage Curling Club!

We are a non-profit social and recreation club that promotes the sport ofcurling in Anchorage, Alaska. Our 2-sheet facility located in the Government Hill area has ice from October through early April for novice to advanced participants of all ages. Curling can be wholly recreational, completely competitive, or somewhere in between. It's fun, full of comaraderie, and often referred to as "chess on ice". For those that want to try curling, we encourage you to attend a learn to curl class. Those thatregister for club membership can participate in a variety of leagues. We also host several bonspiels (tournaments) for novice to advanced curlers througout the season. And as a member ofthe US Curling Association and Alaska Curling Association, we offer more advanced curlers the opportunity to compete in State and Regional playdowns for national events. We extend a wholehearted welcome!
